H&B London

H&B London is a British accessories brand that creates luxurious accessories for gentlemen. We really do love the fact that their webshop is for men only! Quality, individuality, trust and craftsmanship are their keywords. Something that we personally really like is that all the items are handmade in Britain by real craftsmen.

The beautiful wallet that we're reviewing is made of the finest materials. According to the product description, the most exclusive Italian calfskin leather was used to make this unique wallet. The colour is really beautiful and original. The name of the colour is "British racing green", which sounds pretty nostalgic, doesn't it?

Our only concern is the price. For this billfold wallet, you pay £130 (€150). When wallets and cufflinks are your only product, you really need to have know-how to make a difference and to be a competitive market player. There is an overload of choice for wallets and cufflinks nowadays. Although the wallet is really cool, it doesn't have a coin pocket and the lining doesn't really live up to our expectations. That's why we believe the price is a little too high.

Nevertheless, it still makes a gorgeous present for Christmas! Check out their website. They also have a selection of cufflinks that are really beautiful.

Outfit post: In Bruges

 Men Trend went to Bruges in Belgium for a weekend a while back. Tourists in our own country ;-) Actually, it was a really good opportunity to take some pictures for a new outfit post! It has been a while now since we did one, we know... But school keeps both Nino and me very occupied and we also get quite some questions for collaborations, so that's why we are posting less nowadays. So back to our little trip!

 

I was wearing a Zara jacket, one of my favourite jackets! Zara's collections are improved, I'm starting to like their clothes again. This jacket was only €70, so actually really affordable. That's the good thing about Zara, the clothes are affordable but still stylish.  My belt is by John Galliano. I ordered it online at luisaviaroma. 

This T-shirt is one of my personal favourites because of the leopard print. I bought it in a cute little store in Antwerp    (I forgot the name, sorry 'bout it).  My pair of jeans are from H&M, they're my comfy jeans.  And my shoes are by the brand Sebago, best boat shoes ever! My bag is also from Zara. The reason why I treasure this bag so much, is because it was a birthday gift from my friends.

Event: Selected x Smets Premium Store

 Danish brand Selected opened a pop up store @ Smets Premium Store in Brussels.
This wonderful collaboration Selected x Smets didn't go unnoticed, since we went to the launch party.

We've always been big fans of Selected Homme. The clothes are always really beautiful and trendy, of good quality and affordable. That's why we are so excited about this collaboration: a pop up store in a high end fashion store like Smets, creates a bridge between "both worlds".

After a presentation of the collection and the campaign (which is amazing by the way, check it out!), we were able to check out the collection in store. Showstoppers like the burgundy shirt, the blue camo desert boots and the wool three-piece suit really caught our eyes.

Both the Homme and Femme collection are available at Smets, including all accessoiries. It's really worth checking out because the pieces are amazing! The collection will be there until October 12.
