Outfit post: Burberry X Les Hommes

 The weather gods seem confused. We still have snow on the ground in Belgium, just a week before Easter!

Oh well, it's a great backdrop for a photoshoot. Let's just hope Spring comes very soon ;-)

 

I'm not a big fan of wearing bright colours in winter, so for this post I chose to put an outfit together with a lot of black and different shades of gray. Furthermore, I only wore 2 different brands, at least if you ignore the gloves ;-)!

 

The shirt, jeans, shoes and silverfox fur scarf are by Belgian brand Les Hommes. The winter coat and the briefcase are Burberry London. The gloves are by Huis Boon, a Belgian ganterie since 1884! Their quality is to die for. Although I try to buy pieces from different brands, Les Hommes and Burberry are probably my all time favourites.

 

The location is a medieval castle in Antwerp, called Het Steen. It's one of my favourite places in the city because of it's historical worth.

First shopping experience at Zalando.com

Today's post is quite different from what we usually do, but the story is worth sharing with ya'll!

 

Our European readers probably all know Zalando. For our American and Asian readers, you're about to find out what it is! ;-) It is a very popular online store in Europe.

 

We got to experience Zalando for the first time as a 'shopper' and we liked it a lot!

They offer so many brands, going from clothing and shoes for men, women and children, to a wide range of accessoires and even furniture and home decoration.

As you can see below, we were just browsing through their products and ended up buying shorts and a little somethin' somethin' for the kitchen.

 

The prices are also very reasonable, with (high) discounts on a regular basis. If you like bigger brands, don't hesitate and sign up for the 'Zalando Lounge': they offer you a lot of brand clothing with reduction!

Event: pop-up store "Le Fabuleux Marcel" in Antwerp

We are so proud to announce that Antwep has it's own pop-up store of Le Fabuleux Marcel de Bruxelles! You'll be able to shop the a-mazing marcellekes until the 31st of July, because the shop will stay open for only 5 months. After this period you'll need to go back to Bruxelles.

We're honored to get an invitation for the official opening party!

 

Marcel made a good choice: the location and building are perfect for the style of the brand.

It's getting warmer outside and everybody wants some new summer stuff. What's better then a real, good old fashioned marcelleke during the summer? ;-)

It's one of those stores you have to visit when you're in Antwerp! They have both the men's and women's collection.
