Press Days FW' 12-13: Salvatore Ferragamo

Men Trend was invited to go to Brussels and have a look at the new winter collection of Salvatore Ferragamo. This presentation took place in the beautiful Amand Blaton Suite of the famous Hotel Amigo. This beautiful suite was the perfect setting to present an even more perfect collection. All the pieces took our breaths away! Mainly dark colors: a lot of grey and black, sometimes blue and burgundy. The shoes on the first picture (on the right under the sofa) are limited edition: only 1500 handmade pairs of this particular model! Salvatore Ferragamo is one of our favorite brands, so we find it most unfortunate that the store in Brussels doesn't even sell most of the cool pieces! When walking around in the suite on our discover tour, we realized that we actually wanted to buy all this stuff (including the suite haha).

Event: Bell & Ross Basel novelties 2012

Bell & Ross is a brand known for inventing, designing and manufacturing exlusive and perfectly functional timepieces for professionals working under extreme conditions, such as pilots, astronauts, bomb-disposal experts and so on. The brand really tries to tell a story with every single watch they make. It was so great to get to hear these stories and their inspirations for the new collection we saw. We love the camel color you can see in the first picture! The watch in the second picture is, in our opinion, the most special one; let us tell you the story behind it! The shape of this new model illustrates the unique parallel between the history of aviation and that of watch making. With this particular piece, the 'Vintage WW2 Regulateur Heritage', they want to mark a key moment in the history of military watch making by reinterpreting Second Worldwar navigational instruments. It pays tribute to the timekeeping instruments used by bomber navigators in the 1930s and 40s.

H&M Men's Lookbook Fall 2012

Men Trend was really amazed when we were taking a look at the lookbook of H&M Fall 2012.

You can see H&M at their best in our opinion! Original, stylish and of course everything at a very affordable price! Every single person can find something in this collection that suits their personal style perfectly. That’s definitely one of the reasons why we admire H&M!

 You’ll probably notice that the key piece is the suit. Just like Andrea Lowenstam, Head Menswear Designer, said: “The suit is the most important garment for men at H&M this fall, and it’s amazing to see how it can be worn in so many modern ways. Traditions mix with new ideas to build a new wardrobe that’s all about personal style.”

Event: Fashion meets music, part III

To mark Verso's celebration of its 20-year anniversary, a new CD is released. This 20th anniversary edition is already their third CD. It's a beautiful, luxury edition with a red snakeprint cover to make it extra special!

The releaseparty was combined with a preview of the FW '12-'13 collections Verso wil be selling in their store (and probably online too).
